Client Representative/Project Manager

The role

As the client’s representative, you will lead the development and execution of complex and challenging conversion and renovation projects in existing buildings and ensure that a feasibility concept is transformed into a user-friendly and sustainable solution. You will actively consult with the future internal users, identify their diverse needs, create specification profiles, and assess feasibility and cost-effectiveness. With your service-oriented approach, you will develop optimal solutions for our company. You will evaluate and oversee external architects and planners, including during the construction phase. You will manage the various planning processes and serve as the point of contact for negotiations with government agencies and contractors. In doing so, you will be supported by in-house and external specialists.

What we wish for

To meet this demanding challenge, you have:

• Several years of experience in managing construction projects (e.g., project management, construction supervision, client representation, or project coordination)
• Solid training in civil engineering with relevant continuing education in project management, construction management, or construction economics
• Excellent understanding of construction and planning processes, scheduling, and quality assurance
• Practical experience working with general contractors, general construction firms, and professional client organizations
• A confident and professional demeanor, partnerships, and on-time
• In-depth knowledge of the SIA standard
• Strong ability to handle complex
• Experience with or interest in classical
• Entrepreneurial, networked thinking
• Business-level German and
• PM Tools
