Customer Center Representative

The Valais Cantonal Bank is seeking a customer service representative for its Customer Center to handle customer inquiries and ensure a high standard of service. The position requires a business background, experience in a customer service center, and excellent communication skills in German and French.

Tasks

They systematically identify customers, provide information, explain the terms and conditions and details of various products and services, and capitalize on sales opportunities.
  • They provide the information needed to update IT data related to customer service and market management.
  • They provide advice over the phone on basic products and services (accounts, cards, online banking) and offer initial information about other banking products.
  • You guide and support our customers in using our digital products, thereby enhancing their customer experience.
  • You schedule the appointments with our consultants.

Requirements

  • You have completed a business-related vocational training program (EFZ, Matura Type E).
  • You have experience working in a customer service center and excellent knowledge of office communication tools.
  • You communicate effectively in German and French. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
  • You are a pragmatic and disciplined person who offers constructive suggestions for improvement and is skilled at communicating over the phone.
  • You value teamwork and collaborate easily with your colleagues.
