Consultant (80%–100%)
The Swiss National Bank is seeking a consultant (80–100%) for the Executive Staff of Department II in Bern to provide advice on monetary policy issues and assist with communications tasks. The position requires a master’s degree in economics, extensive professional experience, and excellent knowledge of French.
Your tasks
- Advising department leadership on a wide range of policy issues
- Coordinating and preparing presentations and talks, particularly in French
- Consulting and support in carrying out communication tasks
- Assistance with the preparation of Executive Board presentations and seminars led by department heads
- Developing recommendations with supporting arguments, providing support as
Your profile
- Master's Degree in Economics
- Extensive professional experience in non-partisan issues; ability to quickly and competently grasp the subject matter
- Ability to quickly familiarize oneself with topics, evaluate them, and present them persuasively
- A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to performance, independence, initiative, and the ability to provide excellent service and work effectively in a team
- Excellent communication and writing skills in French, as well as a good command of German and English
