Head of Business Compliance
The position as Head of Business Compliance at Migros Bank offers an exciting management role with considerable influence and scope for creativity, involving the management of five teams and acting as a link between sales and compliance. The main tasks include ensuring compliance with money laundering legislation and the ongoing improvement of internal processes.
Overview
As Head of Operations and Business Compliance, you will lead five well-coordinated teams and act as the third link between Sales and Compliance when it comes to processing AML cases. An exciting role with plenty of influence and opportunities to shape the future awaits you.
Tasks
- Ensuring compliance with money laundering legislation as well as internal bank reporting and escalation of relevant information and benefits
- Continuous improvement of internal processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency, as well as support for specific projects
Profile
- Over 10 years of experience in compliance (1st line) or management/leadership roles in your business area across 2 levels
- Completed degree (university/ETH, PH, NHP)
- Business Administration / Banking & Finance
- German (business fluent)
- French (an advantage)
- Italian (an advantage)
- Relevant subject-specific knowledge within and outside the bank
- Responsible, solution-oriented personality with extensive leadership and assertiveness skills
- Strong communication and analytical skills, networked thinking, and ability to see the big picture
- Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to implement them effectively
- Strong cross-team and cross-departmental skills to maintain professional and productive relationships at all levels
