**Head of Business Compliance**

The position of Head of Business Compliance at Migros Bank involves managing a team of AML experts, handling AML cases, and ensuring the quality of AML work. The position offers considerable influence and creative freedom in an exciting field.

Overview

Head of Business Compliance (all) • 80–100% permanent position (open-ended) • Immediate start or by agreement • Option to work from home

Tasks

  • Leading and developing a team of 5 AML experts (regardless of function)
  • Handling all types of AML cases (internal investigations) in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal processes
  • Reporting to management, the CEO, and regulatory authorities
  • Support for projects to implement new AML processes and tools
  • Quality assurance (including reporting) of AML work within the department
  • Sourcing and scanning according to the latest trends and processes at Migros Bank

Profile

  • Ensuring compliance with money laundering regulations as well as internal bank reporting and escalation of relevant information and benefits
  • Ongoing improvement of established processes to increase effectiveness and efficiency, as well as support for specific projects
  • Relevant expertise within and outside the bank

What you bring with you

  • Over 10 years of experience in compliance (1st line) or management experience/expertise in AML/CTF (2 levels)
  • Completed degree (university/ETH, PH, HF)
  • Business Administration/Banking & Finance
  • German (business fluent)
  • French (an advantage)
  • Italian (an advantage)
  • Responsible, solution-oriented personality with extensive leadership and assertiveness skills
  • Strong communication and analytical skills, networked thinking, and ability to consider the big picture
  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements and the ability to implement them effectively
  • Strong team and performance-based skills to build professional and productive relationships at all levels
