Credit Operations Analyst
Banque Cantonale de Fribourg is seeking a Business Analyst for its Credit Division who will work at the intersection of credit operations, finance, and IT to ensure the reliability, performance, and optimization of the bank’s credit applications. The ideal candidate will have a college degree or higher and several years of professional experience in a comparable role in the banking sector or at a provider of banking or financial software.

Joining us means becoming part of a team that provides tailored solutions to drive the local economy forward. As a Business Analyst in the Credit division, you will play a key role as a liaison between the business units, IT, and external partners.What can you expect?
* Ensuring the proper integration and management of the day-to-day operations of applications, systems, and software solutions in the bank’s credit division. * Analyzing and validating business requirements and translating them into functional specifications for external vendors. * Serving as the point of contact for user support and assistance for internal and external stakeholders. * Actively participating in or leading and managing technical projects within the administrative division; ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the application landscape. * Planning, coordinating, and managing releases and technical patches within the administrative division, including test planning, validation of deliverables and rollouts, and conducting integration and regression tests. * Promoting a culture of continuous improvement by identifying technical, functional, and structural weaknesses, developing optimization proposals, and implementing best practices—including automation where appropriate. * Managing business and technical incidents in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders; assisting in the analysis and resolution of issues; and developing sustainable improvement measures. * Managing parameter settings, business processes, business rules, administrative rules, as well as roles and permissions for accessing the banking applications within the administrative domain. * Maintaining clear technical and business documentation for the relevant banking applications, particularly with regard to parameter settings, business processes, business rules, operating procedures, and technical dependencies. * Collaborating on technology and innovation monitoring, anticipating developments, and supporting the further development of banking applications in cooperation with external providers. * Collaborating on internal and external audits by providing the necessary documentation, explanations, and operational support.What do you bring with you?
* Higher education (university, university of applied sciences, ETH, or equivalent) in finance, banking, computer science, information systems, or a related field. * Several years of verifiable professional experience in a comparable role as a business analyst or operational analyst in the banking sector or at a provider of banking or financial software. * Strong knowledge of the lending business (e.g., mortgage loans, corporate loans, bank guarantees, and sureties, etc.) as well as related areas (front-, middle-, and back-office lending and bank accounting). * Strong knowledge of technologies used in Swiss banking applications, particularly Finnova AG, RSN Risk Solution Network AG, and Wuest Partner AG. * Experience in defining and implementing technical specifications, process modeling, and project implementation. * Ability to communicate with various stakeholders from business units, IT, and external vendors. * Analytical thinking, attention to detail, a service-oriented mindset, and a strong focus on finding solutions. * Fluency in French or a good command of German (at least B2 level).We offer you
