Board Management & Governance, Associate

As part of the EMEA Board Governance Team (EBGT), you will provide global support to teams in London, Dublin, and Luxembourg and support the Alternatives and ETFs fund ranges, as well as corporate boards. The Budapest Team was established in 2000 and supports global governance activities, ensures that all applicable governance requirements are met, and delivers standard company secretarial services in a timely and effective manner. Key focus areas include preparing board packs, conducting post-meeting follow-ups, and maintaining high standards of governance support. Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.Tasks

- RCS filings – regulatory filings
- Preparation of the Annual Board Calendar
- Board Evaluations – Reporting Summary
- Applying Signatures to Documents
- Diligent Access Review (Board Management Software)
- Compilation of board statistics
- Maintaining and Updating Board Member Biographies
- Global tracers
- Review of minutes prepared by external service providers
- Splitting of minutes
- BlueBinder Updates
- Changes in Directors/Managers
- Onboarding Process – Market Launch
- Food documentation during the transition
- CBI OMR Filings
- Document Filings
- Other ad hoc and administrative tasks
- Lead and coordinate a small team of 2–3 people
Requirements
Successful candidates:- Can maintain the confidence of the boards and committees
- Are familiar with or have experience in the investment industry
- Have a good understanding of investment management
- High level of intellectual agility and creativity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong ability to manage business expectations
- Strong remote collaboration and communication skills
- Fluent in English at an advanced level
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, law, or business administration
- Experience at a multinational company, particularly in the financial industry (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing deadlines
- Highly organized with excellent time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and drafting skills
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Strong Excel skills (an asset for automation initiatives)
- KIC / Client onboarding experience (advantage)
- Familiarity with Blueprint One / Diligent software (a plus)
- Previous experience leading or mentoring a small team is considered a strong advantage
