The Branch Business Manager position supports the Singapore Branch Management Office in all aspects of location management and branch operations.Tasks and responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities include:- Independent risk advisor to branch management who assesses risk issues and clearly presents risks to facilitate decision-making
- Support in establishing, operating, and maintaining an effective risk management framework for the branch in close collaboration with various stakeholders
- Supporting branch management in branch-wide projects and initiatives that promote a positive risk culture and an improved control system
- Serve as the primary point of contact for front-office matters, including impact assessments, communication management, and operational aspects
- Collaborate with other branch units to resolve issues affecting the front office, including customer complaints and procedural inefficiencies
- Promoting a positive risk culture and awareness throughout the branch, including conducting training sessions
- Support in achieving business growth targets while taking into account regulatory requirements, the risk profile, and operational resilience
Regulatory responsibilities and risk management

- Ability to organize content and present ideas and recommendations in a clear and structured manner
- Extensive knowledge of the private banking business and regulatory requirements in Singapore
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to integrate different positions into actionable tasks or actions
