Brokerage & Custody Operations - Senior Specialist

Sygnum is seeking an experienced Brokerage & Custody Operations - Senior Specialist for its team in Singapore to ensure the integrity and accuracy of client transactions and positions. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in banking or payment operations and a strong interest in cryptocurrencies and blockchain.

Tasks

The duties of the Brokerage & Custody Operations - Senior Specialist include:
  • Execution of brokerage operations related to cash payments, digital assets, and customer onboarding
  • Serving as the point of contact for daily construction operations
  • Performing daily reconciliations and cash balances to ensure accurate accounting records
  • Supporting the team leader with new business initiatives and redesigning the target operating model for the future of finance
  • Conducting user acceptance testing, supporting and documenting evolving operating models and processes
  • Support with the submission of regulatory reports and notifications
  • Opportunity to expand operational knowledge and provide support for other operational functions related to cryptocurrencies, including fund operations

Requirements

Our ideal candidate has:
  • At least 3 years of proven experience in banking or payment operations, with comprehensive knowledge of cash management and investigations
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration (preferred)
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and use time effectively
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as stakeholder management skills
  • Passion for automating processes and increasing work efficiency
  • Strong personal responsibility and enjoyment of working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong interest in or knowledge of cryptocurrencies and blockchain
  • Experience working with start-ups or FinTech companies and knowledge of treasury management are advantageous.
