Business Analysis OfficerTasks
The Business Analyst – Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:- Supporting the AVP in managing team output within the given deadlines
- Full-time production during the implementation of Geneva, including software installation, setup, and hands-on functional and technical training for the H2 team and all other related tasks.
- Coordinating the workflow, creating and reviewing detailed reconciliation packages for NAV between two systems, including:
- Review of cash and position accounts, validation of portfolio prices in the new system
- Income and expense accounting in accordance with the entries in the old system
- Analysis of the business and technical requirements of State Street Fund Accounting and Operations
- Configuration and automation of products for workflow optimization
- Time management to maximize the agenda and deliver critical components
- Execution of planned implementation tasks to maximize delivery satisfaction
- Collaborate with and communicate project status to business team leaders and Geneva project managers
- Creation of conversion and system integration mapping tools
- Uploading/migrating historical tax lots and other client portfolio data to Geneva and ensuring data integrity
- Supporting business teams in coordination using Geneva
Requirements
The candidate should meet the following requirements:- Strong understanding of financial products
- Strong knowledge of accounting systems and NAV valuation processes from start to finish (IMCH is a plus)
- Security in the creation of conversion reconciliations according to established procedures for various customers
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with NAV teams to resolve potential issues during conversion
- Strong organizational skills for collaborating with other Geneva project participants to address technical issues
- Strong time management – ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively within tight deadlines
- Strong team management – ability to implement internal controls with strong risk awareness to minimize potential problems and prevent recurrence
