Business Analyst - Accounting

Role Summary

• As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in translating complex business requirements into scalable accounting solutions.
• Working as part of a multidisciplinary Agile team, you will engage with business processes, stakeholders, and programs.

Required Skills & Experience

• A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance, business information technology, economics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts for wholesale financial products.
• Understanding of banking processes and financial reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with APIs and data models.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Finance point of contact for strategic change initiatives.
• Analyze processes, data flows, and accounting implications.
• Support for toolbox refinement and requirements definition.
• Partner with technology teams to design and implement solutions.
• Carry out and support testing activities throughout the ING Group.
• Maintain accounting controls and ensure the integrity of financial processes.
• Provide functional support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
