Business Analyst

Tasks

The various tasks that await you:

• Analytical activities:
  • Identify, collect, and structure business needs and associated risks/opportunities (particularly regarding privacy, communication and branding, IT security, sustainability, etc.).
  • Translate requirements into clear functional and technical specifications, taking into account IT and regulatory constraints.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and architects to ensure consistency in proposed solutions and integrations (API, microservices, cloud, etc.).
  • Test applications and technologies as well as dependencies related to requested changes
  • Advise stakeholders on business and technical alternatives (internal and/or external)
• Management and coordination activities:
  • Organize framing workshops with internal and external stakeholders (including suppliers and partners)
  • Facilitate communication between business lines (product owners, business line representatives, process and data representatives), project teams, and technical teams.
  • Participate in functional testing and UAT phases, ensuring coverage of sensitive requirements and end-to-end traceability.
  • Contribute to document governance (traceability, compliance, reporting, follow-up on audit recommendations)

Requirements

Votre profil :

• At least 3 years' experience as a business analyst with a technical focus, ideally in the Swiss insurance/financial sector
• Higher professional education (EPF, HES, HEC, UNI, or other equivalent qualification) with a focus on IT/management
• Good knowledge and understanding of business and regulatory processes in the Swiss insurance or financial sector (FINMA, LDP, GDPR, etc.)
• Versatile experience: business analysis, solution integration, collaboration within agile teams (product owner, developers, QA/testing), and participation in UAT
• An understanding of global IT architecture, data security issues, access and protection of personal data (GDPR), as well as integration issues (API), microservices, etc.) and cloud-related issues.
• Excellent command of Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence) and very good knowledge of agile methods (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Native French speaker, fluent in English (spoken and written, minimum level B2), knowledge of German would be a real asset.
