Business Analyst – E-Banking
The Business Analyst – E-Banking (80-100%) supports and improves the applications and platforms for private clients at Vontobel, playing a key role in the area of business engineering. The main tasks include conducting user acceptance tests, identifying and documenting errors, and collaborating with developers.
Job description: Business Analyst – E-Banking (80-100%)
Tasks
- Taking responsibility for user acceptance testing (UAT) by designing test cases, executing tests, and ensuring that new functions and features meet business requirements and quality standards
- Actively identifying and documenting errors or problems during testing and working with developers to resolve them
- Maintaining comprehensive feature documentation to ensure clarity and alignment across teams and support future developments and bug fixes
- Collaborate with other teams, such as UX, Core Banking, and CRM/CLM, to ensure smooth delivery of solutions
- Contribution of innovative ideas to improve processes, increase efficiency, and solve problems
- Updating technical and user-oriented documentation and ensuring clear communication at all levels of the organization
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a business analyst or business engineer in the banking industry, ideally with a focus on e-banking
- Solid understanding of client-oriented applications, UX processes, and software development
- Experience in application testing, including UAT, defect tracking, and test case creation
- Strong attention to detail and ability to create and maintain clear, detailed feature documentation
- Basic knowledge of programming (e.g., SQL) and ideally experience with Avaloq AFP
- Passion for improving user experiences and maintaining high quality standards
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex ideas and explain them to different audiences
- Collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work closely with the Private Clients platform teams to achieve common goals
- Fluent language skills in English and German (essential)
