Tasks

  • Support in designing and implementing enterprise-wide AI governance frameworks, including technical guidelines, standards, control mechanisms, and best practices that comply with international guidelines (e.g., NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act)
  • Monitoring developments in global AI regulation and standards, interpreting legal and compliance requirements into operational and technical requirements
  • Collaborate with internal technical stakeholders, including data scientists, ML engineers, product managers, and IT security teams, to integrate governance checks into development processes and workflows.
  • Developing and conducting practical training sessions and workshops to raise awareness of responsible AI use, both for technical teams and business units
  • Implementation of monitoring and testing functions to ensure ongoing compliance with internal policies and external regulatory expectations
  • Translating complex AI governance concepts into accessible messages for non-technical audiences, while maintaining a high level of technical expertise when working with developers and data teams.

Requirements

  • University degree in computer science, data science, information technology, industrial engineering, finance, law, or a related field
  • Up to 6 years of professional experience, ideally in the banking or financial sector, with proven experience in compliance, operational risk, legal, or technology governance
  • Solid technical foundation in AI/ML and architecture concepts: familiarity with supervised/unsupervised learning, model evaluation, feature engineering, and MLOps principles
  • Practical experience or deep conceptual understanding of AI project lifecycles
  • Proven ability to analyze data using tools such as Excel, SQL, and MS Office Suite, particularly advanced use of PowerPoint for executive reporting and Excel for risk modeling or data verification
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, able to identify systematic risks and propose scalable technical and procedural measures to mitigate risk
  • Knowledge of key AI regulatory landscapes, including the EU AI Act and emerging Swiss and global standards
  • Understanding of data governance, privacy-by-design, and model risk management principles; previous involvement in AI pilot projects or model reviews is an advantage
  • Exposure to or experience with responsible AI toolkits
