Business Analyst - Security Operations

The role will collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to improve clarity and consistency and transform operational data into actionable management insights.

Key responsibilities include:

• Gathering, documenting, and validating business requirements for SecOps metrics, dashboards, workflow improvements, and governance procedures.
• Supporting OSM reporting packages, KPI/KRI tracking, action item follow-up, and recertification/audit, exam, and leadership requests.
• Maintaining process documentation, meeting artifacts, intake trackers, and evidence packages for compliance and manual reporting.
• Partnering with technical teams to translate operational needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and implementation-ready requirements.
• Identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve data quality, and reduce manual effort across security operations.
• Coordinating among stakeholders to track dependencies, risks, decisions, and the completion of deliverables.

The ideal candidate should have a fair amount of the following skills and experience:

• Prior experience as a business analyst, operations analyst, project analyst, or in a similar role in technology, cybersecurity, risk, or financial services.
• Strong written communication skills, with the ability to summarize complex operational needs for management audiences.
• Working knowledge of requirements documentation, process mapping, KPI and metrics tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to effectively manage multiple workstreams in an operational environment.
