Business Analyst - Structured Product

Your challenge

The ideal candidate should possess a combination of financial market knowledge, technical expertise, and analytical thinking, with a proven ability to act as a trusted support to the product owner and as a liaison between business partners and IT development teams. The focus is on improving and modernizing our operational systems, particularly APIs, business analytics, data flow optimization, system interoperability, and end-to-end process automation in the middle office.

Key characteristics and responsibilities

Business analysis and requirements gathering:

• Partner with front office, middle office, operations, architecture, and technology stakeholders to analyze, design, implement, deliver, validate, and formally document comprehensive IT solutions.
• Ensure that all key functional areas are covered in the middle office, particularly in the areas of structured products, FX, and precious metals, including product configuration, trade recording, lifecycle event management, fee billing and distribution, position reconciliation, control frameworks, and invoicing processes.
• Evaluate current operating models, map end-to-end workflows, identify performance bottlenecks and control gaps, and recommend scalable, future-proof solutions that align with organizational goals and digital transformation priorities.

Data and system integration expertise:

• Conducting an in-depth analysis of existing system interfaces, payroll accounting, and data transfers on integrated platforms. Documenting process flows and dependencies.
• Review and catalog related reference data schemas, table structures, relationships, and usage patterns to support impact analysis and solution design.
• Modeling and documentation of integrated end-to-end processes that include user interfaces, APIs, backend services, and databases.
• Lead the definition of solution specifications, including detailed functional designs, interface contracts, and non-functional requirements.

Your profile

Requirements for skills:

• At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or an equivalent role in the capital markets, preferably in private banking or wealth management.
• Deep understanding of structured products, including product structuring, legal, tax, and regulatory aspects.
• Solid knowledge of middle office functions such as post-trade controlling, lifecycle management, position and valuation, corporate actions, and settlement.
• Proven experience in agile environments, working with development teams using Scrum or SAFe methodologies.
• Ability to read and interpret code in order to specify effective change requests and collaborate with developers.
• Proficiency in SQL, data extraction, validation, and analysis; able to query and interpret database formats and table relationships.
• Knowledge of data transfer formats, including JSON and
