The Challenge

This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the evolution of critical middle-office platforms by integrating robust technological solutions tailored to changing business and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate should possess a combination of financial market knowledge, technical expertise, and analytical thinking, with a proven ability to act as a trusted support to the Product Owner and as a liaison between business partners and IT development teams.

Key areas of focus and responsibilities

- Collaborate with stakeholders from the front office, middle office, operations, architecture, and technology teams to analyze, design, implement, deliver, validate, and document comprehensive IT solutions. - Ensuring complete coverage of key functional areas within the middle office, including structured products, foreign exchange, and precious metals. - Evaluating current operating models, mapping end-to-end workflows, identifying performance bottlenecks and control gaps, and recommending scalable, future-proof solutions.

Data and system integration expertise

- Conducting an in-depth analysis of existing system interfaces, payroll processes, and data transfers via integrated platforms. - Reviewing and cataloging relevant database schemas, table structures, relationships, and usage patterns to support impact analyses and solution designs. - Modeling and documenting integrated solutions/improvements using user interfaces, APIs, backend services, and databases.

- Adherence to the highest standards of professional conduct in accordance with industry and internal guidelines. - Embedding principles of integrity, transparency, and due diligence into all aspects of project execution. - Proactively identifying and assessing risks associated with proposed changes to ensure that appropriate mitigation measures are defined and implemented. - Supporting compliance initiatives by validating that new or improved systems meet legal, regulatory, and internal control requirements.

Your profile

Requirements

- At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or an equivalent role in the capital markets sector, preferably in private banking or asset management. - In-depth understanding of structured products, including product structuring, accounting logic, and key market conventions. - Solid knowledge of middle-office functions such as product setup, control, lifecycle management, position and valuation calculations, accounting, and reporting. - Proven experience in agile environments, collaborating with development teams using Scrum or SAFe methodologies. - Ability to read and interpret code to specify effective change requests and collaborate with developers. - Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, validation, and analysis; able to query and interpret database formats and table relationships. - Experience working with data transfer formats, including JSON and XML, particularly in the context
