12-month contract - Business Analyst - Structured Products (via an external agency payroll service provider)

Your challenge

The ideal candidate will have a combination of financial market knowledge, technical expertise, and analytical thinking, with a proven ability to act as a trusted support to the product owner and as a liaison between business partners and IT development teams. The focus is on improving and modernizing our operational systems, particularly our IT-driven architecture, optimizing data flows, system interoperability, and automating end-to-end processes in the middle office.

Key characteristics and responsibilities

• Business analysis and requirements gathering
• Partnering with front office, middle office, operations, architecture, and technology stakeholders to analyze, design, implement, deliver, validate, and document comprehensive IT solutions
• Coverage of all key functional areas in the middle office, including structured products, foreign exchange, and precious metals
• Evaluation of current operating models, mapping of end-to-end workflows, identification of performance bottlenecks and control gaps, recommendation of scalable, future-proof solutions

Data and system integration expertise

• Conducting an in-depth analysis of existing system interfaces, payroll accounting, and data transfers on integrated platforms
• Documentation of process flows and dependencies
• Review of catalogs and database structures, table structures, relationships, and usage patterns
• Modeling and documentation of integrated workflows, user interfaces, APIs, backend services, and databases

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or an equivalent role in the capital markets, preferably in private banking or asset management
• Knowledge of structured products, including product structuring, accounting logic, and important market events
• Solid knowledge of middle office functions such as product setup, control, lifecycle management, position, and valuation reconciliation
• Proven experience in agile environments, collaborating with development teams using Scrum or SAFe methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret business requirements to enable effective change request capabilities and collaboration with developers
