Business Analyst - Structured Product

Tasks

The ideal candidates will possess a combination of financial market knowledge, technical expertise, and analytical thinking, with a proven ability to act as a trusted support to the product owner and as a liaison between business partners and IT development teams. The focus will be on improving and modernizing core systems, with a particular emphasis on API relocation, data flow improvement, optimization, system interoperability, and end-to-end process automation in the middle office.

Requirements

The requirements for candidates include:

• At least 7 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or an equivalent role in the capital markets, preferably in private banking or asset management
• Knowledge of structured products, including product structuring, booking logic, and key market events
• Solid knowledge of middle office functions such as product setup, control, lifecycle management, position and valuation reconciliation, trade recording, and post-trade
• Proven experience in agile environments, working with development teams using Scrum or SAFe methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret system code in order to specify effective change requests and collaborate with developers
• Professional knowledge of SQL, data extraction, validation, and analysis, as well as the ability to query and interpret database structures and table relationships
• Knowledge of data exchange formats, including JSON and XML, particularly in the context of API messaging and system integrations
• Strong practical experience with cloud-based solutions, particularly RESTful services and event-driven architectures using Kafka, applied to middle office or trading platforms
