Business Analyst, Transformation Project (Fund Administration)

As a Business Analyst for a fund administration transformation project, I will work with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement solutions. I will also track and report on project progress and support change management and training for business users.

Tasks

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to support the project manager in gathering, documenting and resolving requirements. Collaborate with the project manager, IT platform team and project working groups to ensure that project requirements are understood and implemented effectively.
  • Tracking and reporting on project progress, risks and issues to ensure timely resolution and escalation when required. Ensure alignment of transformation initiatives with strategic goals and KPIs.
  • Analyze and interpret data to provide insights that inform decision making and measure transformational impact.
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and meetings to gather requirements and drive alignment, organize workshops with subject matter experts, monitor IT delivery, prepare status reports and resource and work planning.
  • Support change management and project activities, including training business users on the introduction of new processes/tools, communication and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assistance with post-implementation reviews and benefit realization.
  • Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation throughout the company.
  • Performance monitoring and use of data - the analyst will assist in measuring KPIs and tracking as part of the performance review and comprehensive approach to data-driven decision making and ideation for process improvement and development.
  • Team and stakeholder collaboration - this role will be expected to work closely and effectively with all stakeholders both within the fund administration operational teams and with our client operational teams.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of fund administration processes, systems and regulatory environment. Experience in the fund industry in an operational or transformational role is essential. At least 8-10 years' experience, with at least 2 years focused on process improvement.
  • At least 3 years' experience as a business analyst, preferably in transformation or change programs that delivered significant efficiency, performance or effectiveness benefits to an existing operating model. Proven project management, problem solving and analytical skills (process analysis, information flow).
  • Solid understanding of business process modeling, requirements gathering and stakeholder management.
  • University degree or equivalent qualification in business administration, business informatics or information technology.
  • Must feel comfortable constructively challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to improve processes and results.
  • Ability to work in an environment with high expectations and meet deadlines in a fast-paced international, multicultural work environment.
