Business Analyst Treasury and Payments (Banking Operations)
As a Business Analyst in the Treasury and Payments division at Julius Baer, you will support the development of payment transaction solutions and help shape the future of wealth management. You will analyze client needs, market trends and regulatory requirements in order to implement optimizations in the payments process.

Tasks
- Collaborate with customers, internal stakeholders and suppliers to optimize value across the lifecycle based on customer needs, market trends, competitors and regulatory/technological advances.
- Defining functional requirements and standards for products delivered by suppliers (e.g. TPH), agreeing technical designs and implementation approaches.
- Ensure accuracy of development efforts so that stakeholders have a clear understanding of resource allocation and timelines.
- Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and making necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Manage relevant run-the-bank (RTB) issues such as SLAs, incident/problem management and implementation of meaningful KPIs to measure service quality and performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Experience in change initiatives within Operations, preferably in payment products.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics or related fields.
- Experience in working with Temenos Transact, preferably TPH.
- Solid understanding of banking operations, core banking systems and the typical banking product landscape.
- Experience with CBPR+, SWIFT, SEPA and SIC standards (ISO20022).
- Familiarity with Scrum, Kanban and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies.
- Good understanding of business processes, process design and process reengineering.
