Business Analyst, Securities/Foreign Exchange Trading

Clientis AG is seeking a business analyst for its securities and foreign exchange trading division to manage applications and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the investment sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis, particularly in the investment business at a retail bank, as well as an affinity for banking applications and IT solutions.

Business Analyst, Securities/Foreign Exchange Trading, Workload: 80–100%, Location: Bern, Gurtengasse 6

Your area of responsibility

  • You will be responsible for the Stock Market, Foreign Exchange, and Money Market modules of the Finnova banking software, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in the investment sector (FIDLEG, FINTRAG, AIA, Falcata) from an application perspective.
  • You are responsible for the interfaces between the banks and IT, and ensure that the business model in the investment division is operated correctly and further developed in accordance with requirements
  • You will serve as the point of contact for both external service providers and internal service providers (including Compliance, Service Management, etc.)
  • You maintain professional communication with our client banks and are skilled at communicating effectively
  • You will assist the team in defining requirements specifications, evaluating solution options, and conducting tests
  • You monitor trends and know how to evaluate and contextualize them in relation to our business model

The profile

  • Experience in business analysis, ideally in connection with the investment business at a retail bank, a passion for projects, and a desire to further develop services for banks
  • A passion for and affinity with banking applications in the areas of investments and retirement planning, and the ability to establish connections between banking topics and IT solutions
  • Enjoy interacting with and communicating effectively with our customers, employees, and external contacts at various levels
  • Experience in business analysis and in participating in or leading IT projects, as well as an independent, solution-oriented, and customer-focused approach to work
  • Ideally, experience with the Finnova banking system and advanced training in business informatics
  • Stylistically Sound Communication & Correspondence in German
