Business and Operations Manager - Legal Assets

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Investment & Transaction Execution: Coordinating the onboarding and execution of litigation finance investments, assisting with the structuring of investments, managing capital calls, and tracking cash flow
• Fund Operations & Administration: Overseeing operational aspects of legal-asset funds and mandates, account management, and NAV reconciliations
• Reporting: Development and maintenance of case tracking systems, budgets, and forecasts; aggregation of legal costs
• Investee Reporting & Communications: Support in developing processes for high-quality investor reporting, portfolio updates, and performance metrics
• Legal & Structuring Coordination: Collaborating with the investment team and external legal counsel on fund documentation and investment agreements
• Process Building & Platform Scaling: Design and implementation of scalable operational processes, improvement of controls, and onboarding of attorneys
• Risk & Compliance Oversight: Monitoring operational risks and ensuring proper documentation and audit trails

Requirements

The requirements include:

• 3–10 years of experience in investment, litigation finance, or fund administration
• Strong project planning skills, including sourcing, people management, and conflict resolution
• Solid knowledge of accounting, key performance indicators, and asset management
