Business and Operations Manager - Legal Assets

Job description

Syz Capital is seeking a Business & Operations Manager to support and scale its Legal Assets platform, including litigation financing, class-action lawsuits, and related legal strategies.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Investment & Transaction Execution: Coordinating onboarding and execution processes for litigation financing, structuring investments, and liaising with external law firms and fund providers
• Fund Operations & Administration: Overseeing the operational aspects of Legal Assets funds and mandates, account management, and coordination with senior management
• Investor Reporting & Communications: Support in preparing reports for investors and business development teams, including portfolio updates and performance metrics
• Legal & Structuring Coordination: Close collaboration with the investment team and external counsel on the structuring of funds and investments
• Process Building & Platform Scaling: Design and implementation of scalable operational processes for litigation financing, improvement of existing models and dashboards
• Risk & Compliance Oversight: Monitoring operational risks and ensuring proper documentation and audit procedures

Requirements

The requirements include:

• 2–5 years of professional experience in investments (litigation financing, private equity, lending, real estate), litigation financing/legal asset management, or fund operations, with experience in complex strategies
• Strong project management skills
