Business Continuity Manager, Luxembourg

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Business Continuity Manager for its Luxembourg office who will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and testing business continuity plans. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and implementing business continuity plans, as well as strong analytical and communication skills.

Job description

Responsible for the development, maintenance, and testing of business continuity plans in accordance with applicable guidelines and regulatory requirements to ensure operational resilience and the availability of relevant services in the event of disruptions.

Tasks

  • Leverage annual BCM emergency drills and operational resilience testing plans in collaboration with the business units and IT
  • Conducting risk assessments to identify potential problems for business operations
  • Analysis of the Impact of Identified Risks on Critical Business Functions
  • Conducting training sessions for stakeholders to raise awareness of business continuity plans
  • Conducting regular exercises and tests to assess the effectiveness of the plans
  • Supporting stakeholders in implementing business continuity measures or process improvements
  • Active participation in the crisis management team during incidents, coordinating the response, and implementing recovery plans
  • Providing Information and Communicating During Crisis Situations

Your profile

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of how to use business continuity planning tools

Experience

  • Proven experience in this role or a similar one, including the development and implementation of business continuity plans
  • Proven experience in leading and coordinating crisis management and implementing response measures
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and business impact analyses
  • Experience in developing and conducting training sessions for employees on business continuity plans
  • Expertise in DORA, particularly in the context of BCM and operational resilience testing, is an asset

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, risk management, or a related field
  • Certification in business continuity management (ISO 22301) is an advantage
