Business Coordination Officer

EFG International is seeking a Business Coordination Officer for the Business Coordination – Life Insurance team in Luxembourg to assist with the day-to-day management of insurance and administrative matters. The successful candidate should have experience in the banking or financial sector and possess a good understanding of financial products, particularly in the area of private banking.

Job Description

EFG Bank is seeking a motivated and qualified candidate for our Business Coordination – Life Insurance team in Luxembourg. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day management of insurance and administrative matters. This position requires a solid understanding of the financial and banking sectors, and experience or knowledge in the field of life insurance is highly desirable.

Tasks

The tasks include:
  • Tracking and processing incoming inquiries from insurance companies and other business partners
  • Processing new insurance policies and monitoring them on a regular basis
  • Maintaining ongoing communication between insurance companies and back-office departments
  • Coding and analysis of discretionary management and advisory mandates
  • Daily management of new documents related to the bank's investment operations
  • Preparation, analysis, and completion of audit requests for auditors
  • Participation in intra- and interdepartmental projects aimed at improving tools and procedures, including testing and reporting
  • Initiating measures to improve processes within the Business Coordination and Insurance Team in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborating with various teams to implement best practices and streamline operations

Requirements

The requirements include:
  • Education: At least a bachelor’s degree, ideally in economics or business administration
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the banking, insurance, or financial services sector, preferably in customer service
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of financial products, ideally in the area of private banking
  • Excel proficiency
