Business & Data Manager - Technology Operating Office - 100% (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is seeking a Business & Data Manager in Madrid to support monthly reporting in the technology division and to develop and optimize SQL queries and relational data models. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in economics, advanced SQL skills, experience with Power BI, and a very good command of English.
YOUR CHALLENGE
- Support monthly closing and reporting processes for the Group's Technology division
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, analysis, and reporting
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server databases to support business and financial reporting processes
- Analyze and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
- Support the design, maintenance, and documentation of relational data models
- Assist in troubleshooting data-related issues and implementing improvements
- Contribute to ongoing digitization and data-driven initiatives
YOUR PROFILE
- Bachelor's degree in economics or a relevant academic background
- A business-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and an understanding of relational database architecture
- Working knowledge of the Power BI reporting tool. Additional experience in data visualization and creating graphs is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
- Very good communication skills in English
