Business Development (80%–100%) (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a candidate for the position of "Business Development" in Zurich, who will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies as well as overseeing finances and processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with MS Office applications, and the ability to work under pressure.

Tasks

Responsible for managing both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives within a front-office business unit. This role may include managing cross-functional projects and initiatives, overseeing financial management, coordinating events, regulating business-specific processes, preparing key reports and presentations, and supporting front-office staff in the region with regular updates and insights.
  • Development and maintenance of KPIs and reporting frameworks across regional growth disciplines to communicate these to line management and ensure careful tracking of defined actions (new net customers, share of wallet, etc.)
  • Preparation of presentations, proposals, and white papers for internal and external committees
  • Responsible for communicating relevant information and initiatives to front-line employees in the region, including monitoring and tracking agreed-upon actions

Requirements

  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient user of MS Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Able to work under pressure and manage a portfolio of tasks
  • Relevant higher education and professional background
