Business Development Director
As a Business Development Director, you will support the acquisition and expansion of business clients in the area of asset and wealth management. You will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, building client relationships and marketing investment solutions.

As Business Development Director, you will help us win and grow our business.
Tasks
- They provide expertise on AMB's Active and Alternative Fund range and identify sales opportunities that match specific needs, such as asset allocation and wealth planning.
- You will work closely with the Group / Multi-Family Office and Unit Linked Fund teams to enhance HSBC Investment Solutions.
- Grow and develop focused client relationships through business development, multi-family office, unit linked fund teams to influence the sales process.
- You will develop an understanding of active fund management and alternative products.
- You will actively participate in the marketing of the Active Fund range by working closely with sales teams and product strategists for assigned centers of excellence.
Requirements
- Self-awareness / insight: Ability to work individually and within a global team.
- In-depth experience in investment management sales.
- Successful evidence of winning assets and managing customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of investment products and capital markets.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Existing relationships with major customers are highly desirable.
- Ideally fluent in French and English. German or an alternative second language may be an advantage.
- Professional qualifications / certification: preferably CFA, CIMA, IMC are a plus, but not required.
- You must relocate from EMEA and the Director role can relocate to a non-EU country. Only candidates with a valid work permit in the country can relocate from EMEA to EU countries.
- You are familiar with a fast-paced working environment.
