Business Development Director

Job description

As Business Development Director, you will help us win and grow our business.

Tasks

• They provide expertise on AMB's Active and Alternative Fund range and identify sales opportunities that match specific needs, such as asset allocation and wealth planning.
• You will work closely with the Group / Multi-Family Office and Unit Linked Fund teams to enhance HSBC Investment Solutions.
• Grow and develop focused client relationships through business development, multi-family office, unit linked fund teams to influence the sales process.
• You will develop an understanding of active fund management and alternative products.
• You will actively participate in the marketing of the Active Fund range by working closely with sales teams and product strategists for assigned centers of excellence.

Requirements

• Self-awareness / insight: Ability to work individually and within a global team.
• In-depth experience in investment management sales.
• Successful evidence of winning assets and managing customer relationships.
• Strong understanding of investment products and capital markets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Existing relationships with major customers are highly desirable.
• Ideally fluent in French and English. German or an alternative second language may be an advantage.
• Professional qualifications / certification: preferably CFA, CIMA, IMC are a plus, but not required.
• You must relocate from EMEA and the Director role can relocate to a non-EU country. Only candidates with a valid work permit in the country can relocate from EMEA to EU countries.
• You are familiar with a fast-paced working environment.
