Business Development Support - Assistant Manager

The position of Business Development Support - Assistant Manager at EFG International in Singapore involves assisting with the onboarding of new trust and corporate structures and managing the entire lifecycle of new client accounts. The incumbent will work closely with Client Relationship Officers and internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience.

Job Description

You play a key role in onboarding new trust and corporate structures, working closely with Client Relationship Officers and internal stakeholders. You manage the entire lifecycle of new mandates—from engagement letters and internal approvals to screening, documentation, and the establishment of entities. The role combines hands-on work with strong client and stakeholder management to ensure a smooth, compliant, and efficient onboarding process.

Main tasks

  • Support the Head of Trust Structures in collaborating with Client Relationship Officers (CROs) and other internal stakeholders to identify and develop new trust and corporate structure opportunities.
  • Management of the entire onboarding process for trust structures, including engagement letters, internal approvals, screening, and the terms of trust documentation.
  • Ensuring that all new structures are established and managed in accordance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all client entities to ensure that all legal and reporting requirements are met.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of onboarding and operational processes to enhance the client experience and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, CROs, and intermediaries to provide responsive, solution-oriented support.

Skills and Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in trust services, trust operations, and/or business development within a trust, fiduciary, or asset management environment.
  • A solid understanding of trust structures, corporate vehicles, and the associated documentation for onboarding and ongoing administration.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with CROs, clients, and intermediaries.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple onboarding projects within agreed-upon deadlines.
  • A proactive, client-focused approach with a strong awareness of risk and adherence to regulatory and internal policy requirements.
