Business Lead AI ART 100% (f/m/d)

The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Business Lead AI ART who will be responsible for and lead the strategic direction and implementation of AI projects in the area of wealth management. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience in agile roles and strong leadership skills.

Tasks

  • Balance between short-term impact and long-term capacity building within the AI-ART portfolio

Roadmap & Portfolio Leadership

  • Owner of the AI-ART roadmap, including prioritization, sequencing, and dependency management across initiatives
  • Alignment of roadmap priorities with business sponsors, CVS, product management, architecture, risk, and delivery
  • Ensuring consistency between AI use cases, platforms, data foundations, and operating models

Governance, Financial & Operational Monitoring

  • Establishment and management of financial frameworks (CIB, CVA, RIB) to ensure transparency, cost control, and value optimization
  • Chair of AI-ART and ensuring effective governance, cadence, and decision-making
  • Approval of important milestones, critical decisions, and final products in accordance with quality, risk, and compliance standards

Delivery facilitation & risk management

  • Leading concept development and solution direction to ensure feasibility, scalability, and compliance
  • Allocating resources across initiatives and resolving capacity or capability bottlenecks
  • Proactive identification, mitigation, and escalation of supply, technology, regulatory, and data risks

Leadership, alignment, and collaboration

  • Strategic sparring partner for product managers, product owners, and the delivery organization
  • Establishing strong leadership orientation within ART and across stakeholder groups
  • Promoting a culture of responsibility, transparency, and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Master's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field. A master's degree (e.g., MBA, MSc in project management, or IT management) is highly desirable.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in agile roles, with at least 3 years as an ART Lead, Release Train Engineer (RTE), or equivalent scaled agile role with a proven track record of delivering complex ART initiatives.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic environments
