Business Manager – CFO / Finance (Full-Time)

The Business Manager supports the CFO team in operational and strategic tasks, handles key responsibilities such as reporting and process optimization, and works closely with senior management. The role requires strong communication skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to simplify and present complex topics.

Tasks

As a Business Manager in the CFO’s office, you will work directly with our Group CFO and handle key operational and strategic issues in the finance department. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Advancing key initiatives
  • Preparing effective analyses for senior management
  • Optimize processes for greater efficiency
  • Preparing important reports and presentations
  • Coordinating events and managing business priorities

areas of responsibility

Your responsibilities include:
  • Local Representative: As the local representative of the Global CFO and the primary point of contact between the Global CFO Office, the teams in Singapore and Hong Kong, and other international financial hubs
  • CFO Office Support: Coordinating and/or assisting with daily business activities and ad hoc tasks
  • CFO Asia Support: Supporting the Regional CFO for Asia, facilitating communication, resolving issues, and establishing escalation procedures between regions
  • Monthly Controlling Process: Conducting variance analyses (compared to forecasts/budgets) for FTE, GE, and PE metrics
  • HR-Finance Interface: Monitoring overtime, vacation usage, and other HR-related financial matters in close coordination with the Human Resources department
  • Risk and Control Framework: Contributes to maintaining robust internal controls, including policy compliance, system access management, and process documentation
  • Audit Issue Tracking: Tracking and Ensuring Transparency and Resolving Outstanding Issues
  • Stakeholder Management: Building strong cross-functional relationships and fostering effective collaboration across Finance, Risk, IT, Operations, and business units

Requirements

Your requirements include:
  • Organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable, with a dynamic mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex topics and create compelling presentations for senior management
  • Technical Skills: Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); ability to visualize data and create clear narratives
  • Proficiency in English is required; German is preferred; any other language is a plus
