Business Manager IT (mid-level) -100% (f/m/d)

The Business Manager IT (mid-level) supports Julius Baer's IT organization in the planning, implementation and communication of IT initiatives and plays an important role in strengthening the day-to-day activities within the IT division. The focus of the position is on planning, organizational change management and communication.

Job description

Tasks

  • Support in planning & tracking of important initiatives:
    • Collecting, validating and structuring data from different systems and stakeholders to support effective planning and decision-making processes
    • Prepare, maintain and update workforce and resource planning trackers and assist in preparing data for ad hoc requests
    • Identifying data inconsistencies and structuring corrective measures
    • Performing regular data quality checks, monitoring planning documents and ensuring consistency via dashboards and trackers
  • Support in organizational change management:
    • Support with background research and preparation of decision documents
    • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and identify potential for improvement
    • Contribute with actionable ideas to continuously improve our department and modern ways of working
  • Support in communication:
    • Support in the consolidation of presentation materials and content for project/board meetings, townhalls, etc.
    • Support in the execution of internal communication (reports, articles, etc.), ensuring consistency and timeliness of content
    • Support in the coordination of internal/external initiatives on a global level (incl. hackathons etc.)
    • Maintaining structured document repositories and ensuring accurate and timely documentation of internal IT processes and important materials
    • Tracking the implementation of organizational change initiatives in collaboration with departments, following up on action items and updating trackers

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address complex IT challenges
  • Financial knowledge: Solid understanding of financial concepts and IT controlling principles, ability to perform financial analysis, develop budgets and optimize IT investments together with our IT controlling unit
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and senior management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Previous experience in a similar role or environment, preferably within a global IT group, is highly desirable
  • Confident use of MS Office applications, especially PowerPoint and Excel
