Business Manager
Joyce Basu is looking for a Business Manager in Singapore who will be assigned to the Business Management team (Jinka & Middle East) and will be responsible for operational support, customer service, and monitoring processes and budgets.
Tasks
- Contributing to the strengthening of team spirit and the promotion of a collaborative work environment
- Will provide the most valuable coaching to global and regional clients and lead this function within the bank
- Business Support for UFS and SWO, UFS for Private Clients, and the UFS Relationship Team
- Establishing perfect local service and communication standards, as well as structures with clearly defined responsibilities
- Close collaboration with internal clients (e.g., Private Banking Relationship Managers, Compliance, Legal) and preparation of reports (e.g., monthly reports, ad hoc reports)
- Business support for all regional customer activities, bringing together relevant stakeholders, facilitating discussions, and preparing coordination documents
- Support for client system applications related to Singaporean corporate structures, governance, regulation, oversight, reporting requirements, and other client-related matters such as permits
- Support and maintain effective relationships with various stakeholders and institutions, including external partners and suppliers, to ensure the seamless execution of business operations
- Supporting the timely implementation and providing a detailed overview of operational risk within business processes and related matters
- Monitoring and support to improve back-office efficiency, standardize processes, and enhance organizational structure
- Participation in local operational reviews and external audits; support for external audits and local regulatory matters
- Budget and Forecast Tracking: Analysis of the PBJM’s Management Fee and Internal Financial Dashboard, and Recommended Actions
- Support for operations management, team supervision, and administration. This includes overseeing the day-to-day operations of the UOL: contract negotiations, requests for proposals and bids, managing supplier relationships, and reporting on work progress
- Support and manage customer onboarding and offboarding to ensure that all onboarding requirements are met and documented
- Maintaining and updating business management policies and procedures. This includes creating and maintaining documentation related to onboarding, compliance, and other business management processes
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management to ensure that business management activities comply with the bank's regulatory and internal requirements

- The Business Manager is a member of the Business Management (Jinka & Middle East) team within the Global Private & Holdings (OPM) organization.
- The Business Manager reports to the Head of Business Management (Jinka & Middle East)
