Overview

• Location: Hong Kong
• Working hours: Full-time

Tasks

• Assuming governance, regulatory and business responsibility
• Close cooperation with GPS co-heads, GPS site managers and the GPS management team
• Support in the planning, forecasting and monitoring of KPIs (e.g. costs, FTEs, financial emissions)
• Organization and implementation of management committee meetings
• Create regular management reports
• Monitor centralized financial reporting

Client Management (internal & external)

• Provide business support for GPS co-heads, GPS site managers and the GPS management team
• Support in the fulfillment of governance, regulatory and business responsibilities
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate with external partners and suppliers

Business management

• Support strategic goals and operational objectives
• Identify opportunities to improve functional efficiency and productivity
• Propose process improvements and workflow optimization

Regulatory responsibilities & risk management

• Meet all legal, regulatory and compliance standards/requirements
• Comply with standards and expectations
• Follow regulatory developments and changes in Hong Kong

Requirements

Technical requirements

• 8 years or more experience in private banking, particularly in a business management role
• Relevant higher education and professional experience
• Good knowledge of financial analysis
• Strong commercial judgment, business acumen and a broad understanding of financial markets and products

Regulatory requirements

• Familiarity with regulatory expectations and requirements
• Understanding of cross-border rules and regulations
