Business Owner – Global Data Platform & Analytical Data Products

Tasks

The role of Business Owner (BO) for the Global Data Platform (GDP) and Analytical Data Products includes the following responsibilities:

• Leading the Strategic Development of Data Products in the Analytics Division
• Defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the bank's central cross-domain data platform
• Monitoring the platform's implementation and ensuring measurable business value and reliable data for decision-making

This role focuses on the following key areas:

• Develop the platform's vision, target state, and roadmap in close collaboration with the CIO, business lead, IT leadership, and enterprise architecture team
• Aligning priorities, scope, and deliverables with business units and IT stakeholders
• Overseeing end-to-end governance, prioritizing, and coordinating funding for improvements and new capabilities provided by the Global Data Platform (GDP)

Data Product Development

The role also includes the development of data products:

• Orchestrating the design and implementation of company-wide data products that cover multiple use cases in the analytics field
• Enabling the streamlining of redundant or overlapping reports and dashboards and promoting reusable, standardized data layers instead of isolated outputs
• Establishing simple standards and templates for the development of data products in collaboration with data engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts

Strategic Support and Roadmap Contribution

This role also contributes to the strategic direction:

• Contribute to defining a strategic framework for AI and analytics at scale that aligns practical implementation measures with the bank's broader AI ambitions
• Supporting platform/tool rationalization initiatives, assessing existing analytics landscapes, and recommending modernization paths
• Representing data and analytics perspectives in company-wide programs and working groups, particularly those led by the COO's office or Digital Business Transformation

Stakeholder Collaboration and Value Delivery

The role also involves collaborating with stakeholders:

• Build strong relationships with business units, technology teams, and control functions to understand evolving data needs
• Translating data and analytics initiatives into clear business value through compelling narratives and measurable results
• Ensuring strict prioritization, disciplined resource allocation, and benefit assessment based on explicit commitments from requesters

Your profile

For this role, we are looking for someone with:

• Proven track record in managing complex, cross-functional initiatives without direct authority; ability to influence stakeholders from both business and IT
• Strong familiarity with modern data technologies and ecosystems, including cloud-based platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, or similar
• Practical experience with agile work methods, data governance frameworks, and analytics lifecycle management
