Job description

The role

• Development, integration, testing (unit/integration), and support with requirements gathering
• Documentation of solutions/components in the field of process development
• Collaboration with all departments involved (business and IT)
• Application maintenance and support (including third-level support and on-call service, if necessary) as well as lifecycle support (included) for solutions/components and further development with regard to performance and maintainability of existing process applications and processing by the product owner in the agile pod.
• Creation and evaluation of various solutions, implementation of code peer reviews, and coordination of content for cross-product projects

What we wish for

• University degree (business informatics or similar, or comparable higher education)
• At least 8 years of experience in development and in the design and development of Java software in an agile environment, prioritized in finance/the credit card business
• Extensive experience in process modeling, Spring Boot 2/3, REST API with OpenAPI 2/3, and Flowable
• Practical experience with event streaming systems (Apache Kafka) and rule flow development, including design
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices, enterprise integration technologies, and architectural designs for distributed systems
• Strong focus on quality and results, a structured approach to work, good communication skills, and a growth mindset
• Fluent language skills in German and English (spoken and written)
