Tasks

The duties of the Business Process Excellence Analyst include:

• Process design and documentation: Development of clear, consistent, and scalable documentation of banking processes using structured methods such as BPMN 2.0
• Development of integrated process maps that encompass front-, middle-, and back-office functions to ensure transparency throughout the entire customer lifecycle
• Process improvement: Identifying inefficiencies, manual rework, handover delays, and redundant steps through direct observation, stakeholder interviews, and data-driven discovery
• Process Data Quality Monitoring and Analysis: Establishing and managing a global process data quality framework; defining rules, metrics, and thresholds for assessing process quality
• Change management and stakeholder engagement: Partnering with business units, IT, compliance, and risk to understand challenges and develop sustainable solutions

Requirements

The requirements for the Business Process Excellence Analyst are:

• 7-10 years of experience in business process analysis, operational excellence, or process management in the financial services sector, ideally in private banking or asset management
• Professional knowledge of BPMN for modeling complex end-to-end processes and experience using ARIS for process documentation and management
• Strong analytical mind with practical experience in SQL, Power BI/Tableau, and improving data quality (cleaning, validation, error logging)
• Proven success in leading cross-functional process improvements, particularly during large transformation projects, system implementations, or restructuring
• Ability to influence stakeholders in all global regions (Switzerland, EMEA, APAC, the Americas) without formal authority and to clearly communicate complex concepts
