Business Project Manager:in Basic Banking

Zurich Cantonal Bank is looking for a Business Project Manager: Basic Banking, who will be responsible for planning, managing, and implementing complex projects in the area of basic banking. The role includes leading agile teams, communicating with stakeholders, and portfolio management.

Your tasks

  • Responsibility for the management, planning, control and implementation of complex projects taking into account agile principles (SAFe)
  • Promoting transparent and open communication within agile teams, ARTs and with relevant stakeholders
  • Organization of tests, approvals, and go-live activities within the framework of agile release cycles, as well as continuous reporting on project status (e.g., ART syncs, EPC status meetings)
  • Supporting business portfolio management in creating and maintaining the portfolio roadmap and in cross-portfolio capacity planning
  • Ensuring cost control and budgeting of the required resources within the framework of strategic investment objectives

Your profile

  • University degree in industrial engineering, computer science, or a comparable field, ideally with further training in project or portfolio management
  • Experience in leading and motivating interdisciplinary teams as well as leadership qualities and the ability to promote an open and innovative team culture
  • Several years of experience in project and program management for technical implementation projects
  • Analytical, strategic and networked thinking
  • Experience with agile methods (e.g., SAFe) as well as cross-functional collaboration and complex stakeholder management
  • Strong comprehension skills and confident use of tools such as Excel and other analysis and planning tools
  • Strong communication skills in the German language (oral and written)
