Job description: Business Risk Manager, Private Clients Division

Tasks

• Interface between first and second lines of defense: Ensuring and implementing internal control processes in close cooperation with the specialist departments
• Support in designing and implementing control procedures at division level (including 1A and 1B controls)
• Monitoring of high-risk transactions and complex customer relationships
• Ensuring compliance with guidelines, regulatory requirements, and internal processes
• Participation in risk committees and active representation of the division
• Documentation, analysis, and further development of control processes, as well as reporting to relevant stakeholders
• Raising awareness and training employees in the area of risk management and internal controls
• Support with audits, collaboration in projects and working groups, and promotion of innovation and efficiency improvements

Requirements

• Several years of experience in banking (at least 5 years) with in-depth knowledge of investments (risk management, audit, or compliance). Knowledge of lending, retail banking, and pensions is an advantage.
• Higher education in business administration or banking
• Operational risks, internal controls, and regulatory requirements in the financial sector are well known, and experience in implementing regulatory requirements is available.
• Complex issues can be communicated in a structured and clear manner; ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously
• Native French or German speaker with good knowledge of the other language; knowledge of English is an advantage
