Business Risk Manager
The Business Risk Manager at the private bank in Singapore is responsible for monitoring, assessing, and managing business risks, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The role also involves working closely with various departments and assisting with internal and external audits.
YOUR ROLE: Risk Oversight
- Help define the strategic objectives and implement a consistent and effective business risk management framework that involves individuals across the various COB disciplines. Opportunities include: Q&A/qualitative risk assessment; investment identification and monitoring; policy framework; and risk identification and reporting.
Risk Assessment and Reviews
- Provides risk input for business initiatives and proposals
- Assists the FCA with reviews and risk assessments, as well as development, security, and implementation reporting
- Provides periodic QR&A support upon request and conducts regulatory compliance risk reviews
- Significantly improves risk management and education initiatives for businesses
Reporting
- Contributes to Management Reporting
- Participates in the Market Management Committee or its risk management topics
- Provides information for risk management
Interface with Stakeholders
- Ensures close and effective collaboration and information flow between the 1st LOB and the 2nd LOO
- Supports regulatory reviews
- Supports audits and internal/external reviews
Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management
- Implementation of appropriate tests and tools, including but not limited to best practice standards.
