Business Risk Manager - PB COO - BRM
The Business Risk Manager at EFG International in Lugano is responsible for conducting controls, risk assessments, and documentation in the private banking division. The position requires experience in risk management, knowledge of data analysis tools, and fluency in English, German, French, and Italian.
Job Description

Main Responsibilities
- Perform all BRM controls for the Private Banking division on a monthly or quarterly basis and ensure that the results are documented accurately and appropriately
- Preparation of the CRO RSC and Quarterly Control Report
- Ensure that the identified control issues and compliance and control risks are addressed in a timely manner
- Contribution to the preparation of the annual risk and control self-assessment (RSCA) as well as other ad hoc assessments and reviews.
- Work with the Regional and Global PB BRM to establish a robust first line of defense in the area
- Report on the internal control environment and potential risks related to business matters.
- Collaborate with local compliance teams, operations risk teams, and auditors on any ad hoc reviews
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent experience in a related field
- Experience in the financial and audit industry, in the risk control domain, and in compliance and risk management roles
- Excellent data analysis skills and proficiency in programming languages (Python, SQL, R), Bloomberg Terminal
- Required languages: English, German, French, and Italian
- A proactive and clear communicator with strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
