Business Risk Specialist

The role

As a Business Risk Specialist, you will be at the heart of the fund management team and play a decisive role in shaping the risk and quality control of our delegated processes. You will assume a key role in monitoring relevant findings and fund administrators, and will actively contribute to ensuring investor protection, transparency, and quality in fund management. With your in-depth expertise in the investment fund industry, you will navigate interactions with internal and external stakeholders with confidence and directly shape the stability and integrity of our funds.

Tasks

For this role, we are seeking a candidate who - serves as the central point of contact for fund administrators, custodians, auditors, product managers, and other stakeholders - monitors, optimizes, and actively helps shape the risks and service quality of activities delegated by fund administrators - analyzes and coordinates the decisions of the valuation committees for traditional and alternative investments. - performs sophisticated overview checks, including:

• NAV Validity Checks
• Review of Processes and Systems

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with: - A banking apprenticeship, a degree from a university of applied sciences, or equivalent - Extensive professional experience in banking, fund management, or asset management; interesting, complex topics in the securities sector - Very good knowledge of the investment fund industry and regulatory framework - Strong organizational, analytical, and persuasive skills - Polished and persuasive communication - Excellent German and English language skills - High level of personal responsibility and strong ability to perform even under high pressure - Team-oriented personality with the ability to work across organizational levels
