Business Risk Specialist

The role

As a Business Risk Specialist, you will be at the heart of the fund management team and play a decisive role in shaping the risk and quality assurance of our delegated processes. You will assume a key role in regulatory decisions and actively contribute to ensuring investor protection, transparency, and quality in fund management. With your in-depth expertise in the investment fund industry, you will navigate interactions with internal and external stakeholders with confidence and directly shape the stability and integrity of our funds. For this role, we are seeking a person who

• serves as the central point of contact for fund administrators, custodians, auditors, product managers, and other stakeholders
• monitors, optimizes, and actively shapes the risks and service quality in decisions relevant to regulatory requirements
• Decisions made by the evaluation committees for traditional and alternative investments are analyzed and coordinated
• Conducts thorough inspections, including:
  • NAV Validity Checks

What we wish for

• Banking apprenticeship, college degree, or similar training
• Extensive professional experience in banking, particularly in the mutual fund sector, with specific expertise in securities
• Extensive knowledge of processes in the mutual fund sector
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Stylish and persuasive communication
• Excellent knowledge of German and English
• A high degree of personal responsibility and a strong sense of duty
• Ability to perform even under high pressure
• A team player with strong interpersonal skills
