Business Risk Specialist

The role

As a Business Risk Specialist, you will be at the heart of the fund management team and play a decisive role in shaping the risk and quality control of our delegated processes. You will take on a key role in monitoring relevant requirements and trading transactions, and actively contribute to ensuring investor protection, transparency, and quality in fund management. With your in-depth expertise in the investment fund industry, you will navigate interactions with internal and external stakeholders with confidence and directly shape the stability and integrity of our funds. For this role, we are seeking a person who - acts as a central point of contact for fund administrators, custodians, auditors, product managers, and other stakeholders - monitors, optimizes, and actively shapes the risks and service quality of the fund administrators’ delegated activities - analyzes and coordinates decisions made by the valuation committees for traditional and alternative investments. - performs rigorous overview checks, including:

• NAV Validity Checks
• Review of Processes and Systems

What we wish for

- Banking apprenticeship, degree from a university of applied sciences, or equivalent - Extensive professional experience in banking, investment management, and risk management, including six months of experience in securities controlling - Very good knowledge of the investment fund industry and regulatory frameworks - Strong organizational, analytical, and persuasive skills - Polished and persuasive communication skills - Excellent German and English language skills - High level of personal responsibility and strong ability to perform under pressure - Team-oriented personality with the ability to communicate across organizational levels
