Business Selection (BSRRC) Specialist

The job posting seeks a Business Selection (BSRRC) Specialist to handle complex conflict resolution and business decisions in the investment banking industry, working closely with global teams. The ideal candidate should have experience in conflict resolution, excellent communication skills, and the ability to efficiently manage complex projects.

Your role

Do you have a passion for analyzing financial data and related information to resolve diverse and complex issues related to suitability and conflicts of interest before taking on new business? Are you able to manage complex and varied projects efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines? Are you able to collaborate with people around the world? The BSRRC Specialist should:
  • take an active, leading role in the conflict resolution and vendor selection process
  • work with the Global Banking division to gather relevant details and conduct conflict reviews
  • Identify and resolve complex issues that arise during the due diligence process, and manage the deal teams’ expectations regarding the outcome and timeline
  • lead strategic projects (e.g., improved automation and process optimization, banker training, etc.)
  • work closely with Compliance and Operational Risk Control on audit and regulatory issues and responses, as needed
  • generate new ideas and creative approaches that help drive the business forward
You will be based in Switzerland, covering the Americas and the Asia-Pacific region (APAC), and will report to our team in the United Kingdom.

Your expertise

  • Law degree or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience in conflict resolution at an investment bank and/or other financial institutions
  • Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strength in analyzing complex situations under time pressure
  • proven ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and complete them on time
  • strong organizational skills and a high level of
  • Strong work ethic and proactivity
  • excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
  • able to work closely with senior management
  • flexible regarding working hours, if necessary
