Business Selection (BSRRC) Specialist

Your role

Do you have a passion for analyzing financial data and related information to resolve complex suitability and conflict-of-interest issues before new business is initiated? Can you manage complex and diverse projects efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines? Can you collaborate with people around the world? The responsibilities of the BSRRC Specialist include:

• Take an active, leading role in the conflict resolution and business selection process
• Work with the Global Banking team to gather relevant details and conduct conflict reviews
• Identify and resolve complex issues that arise during the conflict review process, and manage the deal teams’ expectations regarding the outcome and turnaround time
• Lead strategic projects (e.g., improved automation and process optimization, training for bankers, etc.)
• Work closely with Compliance and Operational Risk Control on audit and regulatory issues and responses, as needed
• Develop new ideas and creative approaches that drive the business forward
• Make prudent and balanced judgments (always in accordance with professional, ethical, regulatory, and legal standards)

Your expertise

• Law degree or equivalent
• Experience with conflicts in the investment industry
• Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strength in analyzing complex situations
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and complete them on time
• Strong organizational skills and a high degree of flexibility
• Strong work ethic and proactivity
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Comfortable in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Able to work closely with others
• Flexible regarding working hours, if necessary
