Business Selection (BSRRC) Specialist

Your role

Do you have a passion for analyzing financial data and related information to solve varying and complex suitability and conflicts of interest related issues before taking on new business? Are you able to manage complex and varied projects in an efficient and effective manner under a compressed timeline? Are you able to liaise with people globally? The BSRRC specialist should: * Take an active, leading role in the conflict resolution and business decision-making process * Work with the global banking business to gather relevant details and perform conflict checks * Identify and resolve complex issues that arise during the conflict check process and manage the deal teams' expectations regarding the outcome and processing time * Lead strategic projects (e.g., improved automation and process optimization, banker training, etc.) * Work closely with Compliance and Operational Risk Control on audit and regulatory issues and responses, as necessary * Develop new ideas and creative approaches that help drive the business forward

Your expertise

* Law degree or equivalent * At least two years of experience in conflict resolution in an investment bank and/or other financial institutions * Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strength in analyzing complex situations under time pressure * Proven ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and complete them on time * Strong organizational skills and high * Strong work ethic and proactivity * Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office * Comfortable in a fast-paced environment * Able to work in close consultation with management * Flexible regarding working hours when necessary
