Tasks

• In this role, you will contribute to the strategic direction of Julius Baer and drive business development across the Group.
• You will:
• Drive forward the development and implementation of the Group's long-term strategic direction and coordinate strategic programs throughout the company.
• Lead high-level, Group-wide strategic initiatives and help provide analysis and recommendations for strategic decisions.
• Promote strategic intelligence through market, competitive and internal analysis to support decision making and shape the strategic process.
• Design and deliver strategic initiatives and projects from conception to implementation.
• Support the strategic cycle, including the preparation of strategy workshops, annual and half-year results presentations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Front, Finance, COO, Communications, to drive cross-functional projects and initiatives and ensure strong execution and alignment.
• Develop high quality strategic content for senior management and the CEO, including presentations, reports and other key materials.

Requirements

• Key qualifications:
• A degree from a reputable university, preferably with a focus on business strategy, finance or structured problem solving.
• 3-6 years of experience with a leading strategy consulting firm or an internal strategy or corporate development function, ideally in the financial sector.
• Indispensable skills:
• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to simplify complex issues for high-level audiences.
• Strong problem solving skills and strategic thinking.
• Knowledge of English required; knowledge of German an advantage.
