Tasks

• Contribution to shaping the strategic direction of Julius Baer and promoting business development throughout the Group
• Support in translating strategic ambitions into clear priorities, actionable plans and measurable results

Main tasks

• Promoting the development and implementation of the Group's long-term strategic orientation, coordinating strategic programs throughout the company
• Lead and contribute to highly visible, group-wide strategic initiatives, providing analysis and recommendations to underpin strategic decisions
• Promoting strategic intelligence through market, competitive and internal analyses to underpin decisions and shape the strategic process
• Design and implementation of strategic initiatives and projects from conception to realization
• Supporting the strategic cycle, including preparation for strategy workshops, annual and mid-year presentations
• Collaborate with internal teams, including Front, Finance, COO, Communications, to drive cross-functional projects and initiatives and ensure strong execution and alignment
• Develop high quality strategic content for senior management and the CEO, including presentations, reports and other key materials

Requirements

Key qualifications

• Degree from a top university, preferably with a focus on corporate strategy, finance or structured problem solving
• 3-6 years of experience with a leading strategy consulting firm or an internal strategy or corporate development function, ideally in the financial sector

Required skills

• Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to simplify complex issues for high-level audiences
• Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking
